Putin warns the West of the consequences of nationalizing Russian assets

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Western countries want to solve their problems in the energy sector at the expense of Russia, they are planning to nationalize their property, but this may turn against them.

“So we will go away,” he stressed at a meeting on the agro-industrial complex.

Earlier, the Handelsblatt newspaper wrote that the German authorities are working on a scenario for the nationalization of the subsidiaries of Gazprom and Rosneft. .

Gazprom Germania, which operates several large gas storage facilities in Germany, and Rosneft Deutschland.

The Kremlin described even such an issue as unacceptable. According to the official press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, such a plan would seriously violate “every conceivable or unthinkable agreement.”
