Blinken in response to Netanyahu: "People say things let’s focus on actions"

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken referred to the statement of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he stated that “Israel will enter Rafah with or without an agreement,” and said that “people are saying things, Let’s focus on what they do, and what we do.”

Blinken said in an interview with NBC: “We will not support a large-scale ground operation in Rafah without a clear and practical plan to prevent harm to civilians.”

Blinken returned and said that he is now focusing first and foremost on trying to sign On the agreement to release the kidnappers, he stressed that he believes the Israeli government is doing so as well.

The proof of this, he said, is the proposal now presented to Hamas, within which it is “prepared to make very significant concessions.”
