The newspapers also highlighted, in their editorials, the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the new and important phase it constitutes in their relations and their leadership role in forming a new multipolar world order.

Under the headline “Mubadala…the largest investor,” Al-Ittihad newspaper said that Mubadala Investment’s annual results and the growth it has achieved in its business confirm the company’s ability and effective contribution to advancing comprehensive development paths in the Emirates, and consolidate its presence in the global economic scene. By expanding its investment base and strengthening its partnerships in major markets, the value of its assets reached more than 1.1 trillion dirhams in 2023, with a growth of 9.45%, despite the global economic challenges of high interest rates, inflation, geopolitical tensions, and supply chain disruptions.
The newspaper confirmed that Mubadala’s achievements have placed it in the lead as the largest foreign investor in the world, and it will continue, in the coming years, to enhance the horizons and fields of international cooperation and advance global progress, through its priorities set by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister. In another topic, under the title “Shaping the Features of a New World,” Al-Khaleej newspaper confirmed that the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and is his first outside Russia since his re-election last March, The second, in more than six months, constitutes a new and important stage in Moscow-Beijing relations on the path to deepening comprehensive strategic partnership relations and confirming the leadership role of the two countries in forming a new, multipolar, just and democratic world order.

The newspaper said that the talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin focused mainly on the importance of their role in supporting the establishment of a new, multipolar and balanced world that relies primarily on international law, which the Russian President stressed by “working in solidarity to form a multipolar global system based on On the central role of the United Nations, the Security Council, international law, and civilizational and cultural diversity,” President Xi also stressed that “China and Russia defend the international order through the central role of the United Nations, as well as the global order based on international law.”

She added that there is an agreement between the two leaders that the world is going through a historical transformation phase that must be captured and worked to establish a new international reality away from absolute American hegemony, noting that the two countries are engaged in a fierce economic, trade and financial conflict against the United States, which imposes harsh sanctions on them, which prompted them to increase… Cooperation in various fields by activating the economic and financial artery between them.

She explained that China has become the largest market for Russian oil and gas, in addition to being a major source of imports, and that the two countries are seeking to get rid of American financial restrictions by dealing in the local currency and outside the American financial system to escape Washington’s use of the dollar as a weapon, which the Russian President indicated by saying “The rapid development of trade relations between Russia and China has shown strong immunity against external challenges and crises,” he explained. He explained that during the past five years, trade exchange between the two countries has doubled, and “more than 90% of transactions between companies of the two countries were settled in their national currencies.”

At the conclusion of its editorial, Al-Khaleej confirmed that China and Russia are continuing to confront American hegemony, and the Russian President’s visit to Beijing came to give momentum and hope for a new world order that is beginning to take shape.
