Cyprus lifts coronavirus restrictions

Cyprus has decided to ease most restrictions on entry into and within the country.

The Tour Operators Association indicated that most of the measures against COVID-19 will be removed in phases. Since April 11, the mask system outside closed buildings has been abolished, the SafePass card, which confirms the absence of the Corona virus, will not be required in banks, government agencies, museums and other organizations, and restrictions on cinema occupancy have been lifted, and tent camps have been allowed.

From April 15, Cyprus will move to informing people on a weekly basis of the number of people infected with the coronavirus. From April 18, SafePass will no longer be required in retail stores and malls, but will still be necessary for cafes, bars and restaurants.

At the end of March, Thailand decided to cancel the mandatory PCR test for all tourists from April 1, and the result must be submitted before entering the kingdom, given the improvement in the epidemiological situation in the country.
