Cairo Governorate removes occupancy in the neighborhoods of Heliopolis, Sayyida Zeinab, and Ain Shams

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel-Al confirmed the continued implementation of the plan developed by the governorate in coordination between the executive agencies and the utility police. To remove all forms of encroachments and violations that hinder traffic and facilitate the movement of citizens, indicating the continuation and intensification of evening and daytime campaigns to remove occupancy and encroachments on the right of way to restore discipline to the street and enforce the law forcefully and decisively on all violators.

 

In this context, the governorate’s executive agencies, in coordination with the Utility Police, carried out massive campaigns to remove occupancy in the Heliopolis neighborhoods in Al-Ahram, Ibrahim Al-Laqani, Roxy, Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Rawd Al-Faraj, Al-Zawya Al-Hamra in Al-Nour City, Al-Qusayrin, Manshayet Nasser, Bab Al-Shaareya, Shubra, and Hadayek. Al-Qubba, Al-Zaytoun, Al-Marj, Al-Nozha, Al-Sayyeda Zeinab, west of Nasr City, and the coast with the streets of Minyat Al-Serj, Al-Khalafawy, and Ahmed Helmy, Old Misr, Al-Amiriya, east of Nasr City, Helwan, Ain Shams, west of Cairo, Al-Salam Awal, Tora, Dar Al-Salam, and Al-Maasara, During which the occupancy of cafes, restaurants, shops, kiosks, and street vendors was lifted, iron barriers were removed, wrong waiting was prevented, discipline was restored to the streets, and legal measures were taken against violators.

 

The Governor of Cairo instructed the heads of neighborhoods to monitor the condition of the street throughout the day, and not to allow the return of occupancies that impede traffic movement. To make it easier for citizens, and to constantly warn shop owners not to exceed the spaces allocated to them.
