Gold loses $8 in spot transactions

Capitals, May 13 / WAM / Gold prices declined during today’s trading, losing about $8 in spot transactions.

By 09:46 am UAE time, the yellow metal fell by 0.32 percent, or $8.02, to reach 2,352.65 per ounce.

Gold contracts for June 2024 delivery fell by 0.68 percent, or the equivalent of $16.1, to reach $2,358.85 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver fell by 0.81 percent to $28.27 per ounce, platinum fell by 0.04 percent to $1,005.15, while palladium increased by 0.03 percent to $984.03.
