Terry Crews Apologizes to Black Lives Matter Activists
Actor Terry Crews called his comments about the Black Lives Matter movement a mistake and apologized to its activists.
This was stated in the television program “The Daily Show”.
“I want to apologize to everyone who was offended and hurt by my words. I – as an African American – didn’t mean we should have kept the killing of George Floyd under wraps.
In 2021, Crews made a series of posts on social media calling for equality.
“We need to make sure that #Blacklivesmatter doesn’t turn into #blacklivesbetter,” the actor wrote. However, some users considered his statements a disparagement of the BLM movement, which is why the artist was criticized.
Terry Crews is known for commercials and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
