Leak "Helium " The first manned capsule flight is postponed "Starliner" To space
Washington, May 18 / WAM / The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Boeing have once again postponed the launch of the first manned flight of the “Starliner” capsule into space due to a helium leak.
NASA stated that the latest postponement will allow more time to finalize the next steps that address a persistent helium leak.
The Starliner launch from Florida has been postponed several times this month, and apart from a helium leak, there was a technical problem with the Atlas 5 rocket that will carry the capsule, which led to a previous delay.
Boeing has been developing the Starliner for more than ten years to provide NASA with a second American spacecraft capable of transporting astronauts to and from the International Space Station.
