"Muslim sages" Participates in the Rabat International Book Fair

Rabat, 9 May / WAM / The Muslim Council of Elders is participating with a special pavilion in the Rabat International Book Fair, in its 29th session, whose activities began today and will continue until May 19 in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, with the aim of spreading and promoting the values ​​of dialogue, tolerance and human coexistence.

The Council displays in its pavilion more than 220 publications, in 5 languages, at the forefront of which are more than 30 books by His Eminence the Grand Imam, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, which highlight the tolerance of Islam and the richness of its intellectual and philosophical heritage. Including “The Good Saying” and “From My Old Notebooks”, in addition to a number of other scientific publications, including the book “Rules of Understanding and Comprehension from Thought and Language”, written by His Eminence Dr. Mustafa Benhamza, member of the Council of Muslim Elders and President of the Regional Scientific Council for the East Region in the Kingdom of Morocco. And the book “The Imam, the Pope, and the Difficult Path… A Testimony to the Birth of the Document of Human Fraternity” by Judge Muhammad Abdel Salam, Secretary-General of the Council of Muslim Elders, and the book “Muslims at the Crossroads” by Dr. Mahmoud Hamdi Zaqzouq, in addition to presenting a number of new publications by the Elders for publication in the year 2024. .

As part of its efforts to discuss and address the most important intellectual, cultural and Islamic issues, the Council’s pavilion at the exhibition organizes a number of seminars and dialogue and discussion sessions, with the participation of an elite group of scholars, thinkers, writers, intellectuals, academics and university professors, addressing the prospects for serving the verbal heritage in the modern era in addition to discussing the future of publishing and translation in The field of humanitarian issues, and the possibilities of renewing the science of theology by providing subjective experiences.

It is worth noting that the Muslim Council of Elders had concluded a few days ago its participation in the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2024, which was held during the period from April 20 to May 5. The Council’s pavilion witnessed a remarkable turnout of visitors, and its cultural seminars hosted an elite group of intellectuals, thinkers, media figures, academics, and religious leaders and symbols, in addition to a number of participants in the Youth Peacemakers Forum.
