The Fujairah Chamber discusses economic relations with Lithuania
Fujairah, May 9 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Saeed bin Suroor Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, affirmed the Chamber’s keenness to strengthen economic and commercial cooperation relations with brotherly and friendly countries, especially with business sectors, and to promote the Emirate of Fujairah through participation in conferences, economic forums and regional exhibitions. During the meeting, ways of cooperation and coordination to communicate with the Lithuanian Embassy were discussed within the framework of supporting and strengthening economic and trade relations between the UAE and Lithuania on the one hand and the possibility of establishing commercial and industrial partnerships between business owners in Fujairah and Lithuania on the other hand.
The head of the Chamber said that the Emirate of Fujairah, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, was able to keep pace with the developmental, urban and cultural renaissance of the country, in addition to its global position in the field of oil storage and supply. His Excellency the Ambassador expressed his thanks for the Chamber’s welcome and its keenness to facilitate the possibilities for business owners from Lithuania wishing to enter the labor market in Fujairah and to open channels of communication between business owners in Fujairah and their counterparts in his country, stressing his keenness on permanent coordination and cooperation with the Chamber to achieve common interests between the two communities. He said that an economic delegation from his country will visit the UAE next August to learn about investment opportunities, which will contribute to strengthening relations between the two friendly countries.
