The weekly poll of the newspaper “Maariv” showed Israeli newspaper, that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s party has narrowed the gap between it and the “National Camp” Led by former Defense Minister and War Cabinet member Benny Gantz, at a time when the Israeli army is deepening the ground operation in the south and north of the Gaza Strip, the stalemate in negotiations over the hostage deal, the heated debate over the “day after the war” issue, and the escalation of attrition on the northern front in light of Continuing clashes with Hezbollah.

And the decline of the “National Camp” two seats compared to last week’s poll, gaining 30 seats, while Likud rose Led by Netanyahu, two to 19 seats.

The poll also shows that the “Yesh Atid” parties Led by opposition leader Yair Lapid, and the “Israel Our Home” party Which is led by Lerman, and "religious Zionism" Led by the extremist Finance Minister Smotrich, “Meretz”, and the “Unified List” It increases in strength by one seat each.

On the other hand, "Chas" Increasingly weak in terms of mandate, while the Labor Party is back Below the electoral threshold necessary for him to enter the Knesset. None of the “New Hope” party succeeded. For Gideon Sa’ar, and the bloc, led by Sami Abu Shehadeh, to enter the Knesset if elections were held now.

In short, the strength of the ruling coalition increased to 49, and the opposition without the "Front – Come" And the “unified list” To 61 – which barely gives it the ability to form a government, while the current ruling coalition parties remain below this percentage by obtaining “only 49 seats.”

The poll also shows that Benny Gantz is ahead of Benjamin Netanyahu as the most suitable person to assume the presidency. The government has a support rate of 45%, compared to 35% for Netanyahu, with the gap narrowing somewhat from 12% in the previous poll to 10% this time. Among Likud voters, Gantz received 17% support, while Netanyahu received 69%, and 14% believed that they did not know which of them was more suitable. The results of the poll indicate that about half Israelis "48%" They support the words of Defense Minister Yoav Galant regarding the “day after the war” strategy. In the Gaza Strip, compared to 34% who justify Prime Minister Netanyahu’s view that there is no point in talking about “the day after the war.” Unless Hamas is eliminated and its military capabilities are eliminated.
