GAZA, April 28 / WAM / The Emirati field hospital in Gaza began installing prosthetic limbs for the wounded and injured who lost their limbs during the catastrophic events in the Gaza Strip.

The hospital announced that 61 prosthetic limbs will be delivered to the injured in several stages, and in each stage, prosthetic limbs will be installed for 10 injured people, with motor and psychological rehabilitation for them.

It is noteworthy that the Emirati field hospital in Gaza, which was inaugurated last December, has a capacity of 200 beds and includes a medical staff consisting of 98 volunteers of 23 nationalities, including 73 men and 25 women. To date, the hospital has performed 1,517 major and minor surgical operations, and over the past months it has dealt with more than Of the 18,000 cases that required medical intervention by the hospital team to deal with them and provide the necessary treatment and care, starting with first aid, through performing the necessary life-saving surgeries, providing the necessary treatments and medications, and ending with intensive care and attention for those cases, in addition to consultations and medical services.
