Three police officers were killed in an armed ambush in southern Chile

Santiago, April 28 / WAM / Three law enforcement police officers were killed in an ambush by gunmen in southern Chile.
The Chilean authorities stated that the attack targeted a National Police force in the “Biobio” region, about 400 kilometers south of the capital, Santiago.
Chilean President Gabriel Buric declared three days of national mourning for the victims, stressing that there will be no impunity and the perpetrators of the attack will be held accountable.
