Al-Wasl coach: Winning the President’s Cup supports our efforts to win the league title
Al Ain, May 17 / WAM / Al Wasl coach, Serbian Milos Milojevic, expressed his happiness at crowning his team champions of the His Highness the President of the State Football Cup after defeating Al Nassr 4-0 today, Friday, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain.
The coach said during the press conference that followed the match, “We achieved victory after the players followed the instructions during the match. Thank you to everyone who supported us and thank you to the team’s fans.”
When asked about the impact of winning the President’s Cup on the team’s competition for the ADNOC Professional League title, as his team tops the standings, the coach said, “Winning a championship always motivates winning more titles. Starting tomorrow, we will prepare to face Ittihad Kalba in the 24th round of the league competition.”
He added, “We only care about preparing the players for the next match, which we enter with full force in the process of competing for the title, and winning the cup certainly supports our efforts to win the league and achieve the double.”
