Sharjah International Marine Sports Club strengthens its partnerships in the fields of scientific research
Sharjah, May 14 / WAM / His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, confirmed that the club seeks to conclude strategic partnerships, to enhance the principle of cooperation and joint work, and to achieve excellence in the fields of scientific research in marine sports.
This came on the occasion of the club signing three memorandums of understanding with the Sharjah Maritime Transport Academy, Khor Fakkan University, and Khor Fakkan Sports and Cultural Club.
The first memorandum was signed by Khaled Jassim Al Midfa in the presence of Dr. Hashim Abdullah Sarhan Al Zaabi, Director of the Sharjah Maritime Transport Academy, and stipulates cooperation in preparing and implementing specialized training courses in the field of marine sports activities and cooperation in organizing marine championships and events for the purpose of providing exceptional marine experiences at the local and international levels, in addition to To joint cooperation in the manufacture and design of various boats and developing the efficiency of engines mechanically and electrically, using clean energy and cooperation in preparing and providing research, specialized studies and technical consultations in the field of manufacturing and designing boats and all their accessories and manufacturing materials by professors and students of the academy.
The second memorandum came with the University of Khor Fakkan, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Shamaa, the university’s director, and stipulated joint cooperation in preparing and presenting research, specialized studies, and technical consultations in the field of marine sciences and aquatic biology, in addition to cooperation in organizing marine sports tournaments and events, and supporting the club to form various marine sports teams for students. University and reduced tuition fees for various programs and professional courses for club employees, their families and players.
The third memorandum of understanding that was signed with the Khorfakkan Cultural and Sports Club in the presence of His Excellency Salem Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, aims to launch many initiatives of mutual relevance between the two parties, which achieve their strategic goals and for each party to consult the other party at any time regarding any submitted request or proposal that would Achieving effective cooperation, in addition to inviting each other to participate in training courses, seminars and events that serve the objectives of this memorandum.
The signing ceremony from the club was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Al-Qaseer, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Ahmed Al-Hosani, General Manager of the club, and a number of officials.
