So far, no adverse reactions have been reported, but the USDA says it should not be eaten.

A New Jersey-based company has recalled more than 80,000 pounds of ready-to-eat sliced prosciutto ham made by a German manufacturer for not being properly reviewed.

The ready-to-use sliced prosciutto ham item was produced on various dates from September 25, 2023 to March 6, 2024.

Consumers are advised to discard it or return it to the place of purchase.
