Guterres: Israel’s attack on Rafah will lead to… "Humanitarian catastrophe"

New York, May 10 / WAM / United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres warned today that an Israeli ground attack on Rafah would lead to a “massive humanitarian catastrophe.”

“We are actively working with all parties concerned to resume the entry of life-saving supplies – including much-needed fuel – through the Rafah and Kerem Shalom crossings,” Guterres said in press statements, adding that famine is looming on the horizon.
