Urgent.. Determining the location of the Iranian President’s helicopter accident.. and the Minister of the Interior reveals what happened

Media reports reported, on Sunday evening, that the search and rescue team had successfully located the location of the helicopter accident with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.

 

Media sources reported that the helicopter was located near a village. Ozi in the Arsparan forests, in Varazgan District, one of the districts of East Azerbaijan Province in Iran.

 

 

Iranian Interior Minister, Ahmed Vahidi, said on Sunday The plane of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi had a “difficult” landing.

 

He added: “We have communicated with the president’s team and are awaiting the arrival of the rescue team, and communications are difficult in the region.”

In his statements at the beginning of the accident, he continued: “The rescue teams have not yet arrived at the site of the plane accident due to bad weather conditions and fog.”

The Iranian Tasnim Agency reported Citing news reports, on Sunday, that a helicopter carrying Raisi was involved in an accident.

 

While Mehr Agency reported: The Iranian President is fine and is on his way with the entire accompanying delegation to the city of Tabriz.

IRNA reported: Local sources said that the helicopter that was involved in the accident was carrying the President of the Republic, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Governor of East Azerbaijan, Malek Rahmati, and some other officials.

Iranian state television announced the emergency landing of the helicopter without further details.

TV described the accident area as being close to the city of Julfa, located on the border with Azerbaijan, about 600 kilometers northwest of the Iranian capital, Tehran.
