Jason Momoa saves Amber Heard from being kicked out of Aquaman 2
Amber Heard retained the role in the Aquaman sequel as it was defended by lead actor Jason Momoa and film director James Wan.
The actress trained for several hours a day for several months to act in action scenes on the project. Heard later told that her role had been greatly reduced. Earlier it was reported that the actress got only 10 minutes of screen time in “Aquaman 2” due to the trial with her ex-husband Johnny Depp, according to the Daily Mail.
Due to the scandalous process, Depp’s fans created a petition calling for Heard to be excluded from the cast of the supplemental Aquaman movie. The document has received more than 2.3 million signatures.
Later, foreign media reports claimed that the reason for reducing the role of the actress was the lack of chemistry between Heard and Momoa.
In addition, the artist failed to increase the filming fee in the second part of the film. For her role in the movie, Heard could have received $6 million, but she was paid $2 million, as stated in her original contract.
