Al-Ahly defeats Sporting in an exciting final and wins the Egypt Women’s Basketball Cup

The first women’s basketball team at Al-Ahly Club, led by coach Tarek Khairy, won the Egyptian Cup title after defeating Sporting in the final with a score of 93-84 in an exciting match that extended for an additional period at the Hassan Mostafa Hall in the 6th of October on Friday evening.

Sporting led in the first period with a score of 26-19, then in the second period 43-40, and in the third period with a score of 59-52, before Al-Ahly tied in the fourth period with a score of 74-74.

The match extended for an additional five minutes, which was decided. Al-Ahly won 93-84 to win the title.

Al-Ahly succeeded in achieving the second title in a row and the seventeenth in its history.
