The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities prohibits anyone from violating the conditions of the Hajj visa

Within the framework of the supervisory role of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the Ministry, through the central management committees of tourism companies located in various Egyptian airports, monitored several groups of Egyptian citizens heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on visit visas through tourism companies, and it was noted that the dates of their return It has been set for next July, that is, after the end of this year’s Hajj season.

 

In this context, the Ministry, represented by the central administration, is currently investigating tourism companies with Relevant to this, noting that if the violation is proven against any company, legal measures will be taken against it, as the penalty may reach, in accordance with the penalties included in the law regulating the work of tourism companies, the Egyptian Umrah Gateway Law, and the Hajj Regulation Law, to the point of canceling the company’s license.  

 

If it is proven that the violation is against any illegal entity that practices or organizes any tourism programs or activities related to the work of tourism companies without obtaining a license from the Ministry, it will be referred To the Public Prosecution, which may be punished by imprisonment or the imposition of large financial fines in accordance with the law.

 

For her part, Samia Sami, head of the Central Administration of Tourism Companies, confirmed that there is no validity in allowing For holders of all types of visit visas to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj rituals, and that the advertisements circulating are misleading, noting that only those who hold a designated visa for that purpose, and not a visit visa, will be allowed to perform Hajj rituals, and this is according to what was also confirmed by the competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

She referred to the directives of Ahmed Issa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, to closely follow the procedures for this year’s Hajj season in a way that contributes to the success of this season and providing the best services to Egyptian tourism pilgrims and providing all means of care for them, as well as preserving On the rights of both pilgrims and tourism companies.

 

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities calls on all tourism companies to adhere to the laws, and urges Egyptian citizens not to book any trips for tourism purposes except through tourism companies. Licensed tourism and Hajj visas, in order to ensure their safety and not expose them to fraud, as this may expose them to the risks of falling under Saudi laws regarding violating visa conditions.
