5 land ports and an air port increase their readiness for health monitoring to receive pilgrims

The Sharqiya Health Cluster raised the readiness of health monitoring centers at 5 land border crossings and one air crossing; In preparation for the start of receiving pilgrims to the Holy House of God in conjunction with the approaching Hajj season this year.

 The ports administration in the Sharqiya Health Cluster confirmed that the health monitoring centers are equipped with all medical equipment to receive pilgrims, in order to provide health care services for disease patients. Chronic and preventive diseases, in addition to raising awareness and education about precautionary measures while performing Hajj rituals, and providing general advice and guidance before they go to the holy sites.

 The Sharqiya Health Cluster has allocated control centers at the Salwa border port with the State of Qatar, and the King Fahd Causeway port with The Kingdom of Bahrain, Al-Khafji port with the State of Kuwait, Al-Bathaa port with the United Arab Emirates, and the Empty Quarter port with the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to the air port represented by King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
