The International Conference for Arab Publishing and Creative Industries launches the Youth Innovation Competition Award

ABU DHABI, 28 APRIL / WAM / The third edition of the International Conference on Arab Publishing and Creative Industries, organized by the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, launched the new “Youth Innovation Competition Award” initiative, which aims to benefit from technology to enrich the learning of the “Dad language” and nurture creative talents in the fields of arts. The conference, which is held under the slogan “Technological transformations in the publishing industry and search engines,” created the first platform for entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship for young people in the UAE to provide them with the opportunity for innovative learning and creativity in the fields of the Arabic language and creative industries.

His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Tamim, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, said that the Youth Innovation Competition Award, which aims to empower young people and develop their abilities to innovate non-traditional solutions to deal with and deal with their language, comes from the center’s mission to raise the presence of the “Dhad language” and enhance its spread, especially among new generations. He pointed out that the award seeks to encourage students to read in Arabic more, which enhances their linguistic proficiency and enriches their knowledge of the language, which will contribute to preserving the cultural heritage and establish a sense of pride and belonging to the Arabic language and culture.

He noted that the award is designed to make a long-term impact in terms of empowering young people, providing the appropriate environment to enhance their appreciation of language and culture, and establishing the standards of a cohesive academic system that facilitates the exchange of ideas and experiences.

The award called on Arab youth between the ages of 18 and 39 to share their bright ideas in the target groups, which include students between the ages of 18 and 21, innovators and entrepreneurs between the ages of 21 and 30, and Arabic-speaking students between the ages of 18 and 21. and Arabic-speaking innovators and entrepreneurs between the ages of 21 and 39.

The ideas presented compete to have the best 10 ideas selected according to the criteria of the Unipreneur platform jury, which include creativity and technological innovation, the impact of the content, and the feasibility and scalability of the idea.

Each of the finalists for the award will have a golden opportunity to present their innovative ideas on the main stage at the International Conference on Arab Publishing and Creative Industries for 3 to 4 minutes, then the committee will discuss the presented ideas to choose three winners.

Registration forms for the Youth Innovation Competition Award were sent to a group of universities and institutes across the UAE, including the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre, Mohammed bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence, Khalifa University, New York University Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi University, United Arab Emirates University, Sharjah, GEMS Modern Academy, Middlesex University Dubai, Hub 71, Heriot-Watt University Dubai, University of Birmingham Dubai, Amity University Sharjah, University of Science and Technology, Ajman University, and University of Wollongong in Dubai.
