The journalist, Saif Zaher, confirmed that Mahmoud Al-Khatib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Ahly Club, had made his decision regarding the renewal file for Ali Maaloul, the star of the first football team at Al-Ahly Club.

Saif Zaher praised Al-Khatib’s decision and the principles of the Red Castle, noting that Ali Maaloul gave a lot to Al-Ahly and in return the club did not abandon him following an injury in one of the team’s matches.
He added: “Some will wonder how to renew Maaloul despite the injury, but here Al-Ahly is studying other principles, here Al-Ahly is waiting for things from a different point of view. Ali Maaloul gave and sacrificed a lot for Al-Ahly and deserved the renewal at that moment.”
 
He continued: “Maaloul’s renewal despite the injury will be the best proof for all players that playing for Al-Ahly is different and that you must give Al-Ahly all your efforts without fear of injury, because you will not be let go despite the injury.”
At the end of his speech, Zaher wished a speedy recovery for Ali Maaloul and to return again to participate with the Red Genie in winning matches and winning championships.
