Count Nikolai of Denmark is the definition of timeless style as he arrives at Australian Fashion Week in a chic suit flanked by security

Australian Fashion Week was given the royal treatment on Thursday evening.

Count Nikolai of Denmark had heads spinning when he arrived as a guest of David Jones’ Indigenous Fashion Projects runway show.

The handsome royal, who is the eldest son of Prince Joachim and his first wife Alexandra, looked like he just stepped off the catwalk as he made his way into Carriageworks in Sydney flanked by his security detail.

The genetically blessed 24-year-old was a vision of timeless elegance in a chic single breasted Venroy suit designed in a rich chocolate brown.

Princess Mary’s nephew paired the look with an always fashionable black tee, also from Venroy, that perfectly matched his designer footwear.

Once inside, Nikolai took pride of place in the front row as a guest of GQ Australia.

He appeared enthralled by the designs walking down the runway – and influencer Mimi Elashiry sitting beside him.

She turned heads in a mail coif, a type of armour that was popular during the Middle Ages in Europe.
