Gold earns $2 in instant transactions

Capitals, May 3, WAM: Gold prices rose during today’s trading, and gained about two dollars in spot transactions.

By 08:41 AM UAE time, the yellow metal rose by 0.1 percent, or $2.45, to reach $2,306.09 per ounce.

Gold contracts, for delivery in June 2024, increased by 0.23 percent, or the equivalent of $5.3, to reach $2,314.9 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose by 0.5 percent to $26.96 per ounce, platinum increased by 0.45 percent to $967.35, while palladium decreased by 0.26 percent to $936.28.
