President of the Bahraini Jiu-Jitsu Federation: The Asian Championship is a qualitative addition to continental competitions

ABU DHABI, 3rd May, 2018 (WAM) – Redha Munfaridi, President of the Bahrain Jiu-Jitsu Federation, confirmed that the current edition of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championship, which is being held at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, is a strong and qualitative addition to the continental Jiu-Jitsu Championships, amid a distinguished organization from the Asian and Emirati Federations.
He said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, on the sidelines of the Bahraini delegation’s participation in the tournament that began today in Abu Dhabi and will continue until May 8 of this year: “The Bahraini participation is represented by 10 male and female players of various weights, who are participating strongly in the continental championship, after a remarkable participation in the Games.” The first Gulf Youth League, which was concluded recently and witnessed an amazing success.”

The tournament will be held with the participation of 1,500 male and female players representing more than 30 countries.
He continued: “Abu Dhabi always amazes us with everything new and distinctive, and in the current edition of the Asian Championship we see a wide and remarkable participation from various Asian countries, across the various categories and stages, so that the event is a new witness to the success of the Emirati capital in organizing the largest tournaments.”
He expressed his happiness at the continued presence in Abu Dhabi in order to participate in various tournaments and sporting events in the homeland of jiu-jitsu, adding: “Every time we see something new and always special.”
