Zain: harnessing AI’s potential to lead the digital transformation charge

The ceremony was attended by Bader Nasser Al-Kharafi, Vice Chairman and CEO of Zain Group, Issam Al-Saqr, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of the National Bank of Kuwait, and the National Bank of Kuwait. Chairman of the Board of Directors Talal Behbehani, Executive Vice President of the National Bank of Kuwait Group Sheikha Al-Bahar, CEO of Zain Kuwait Nawaf Al-Gharabally, and General Manager of Kuwait International Bank Rana Al-Nibari, along with senior executives and leaders from the private sector.

During the lecture, Mohamed Jawdat discussed the enormous potential of AI innovations such as Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI), and how individuals and organizations can lead their future by harnessing the power of this revolutionary technology. He also highlighted the imminent impact of artificial intelligence on technology, society and the economy, and how it will reshape the business and economic landscape in ways that were previously unimaginable.

After his keynote speech, Mohamed Jawdat was joined by Zain Kuwait Chief Technical Officer Duaij Al-Oud, Senior Manager of Advanced Data Analytics at Boubyan Bank Janan Bin Salama, and Head of Global IT Operations and IBG Technology at National Bank of Kuwait Yousef Al-Qutaifi. The three executives spoke with Mohamed Jawdat about the impact of artificial intelligence in various industries, especially in the telecommunications and banking sectors. They also discussed topics such as ethics in AI and the importance of investing in building a robust data infrastructure using cloud computing and cybersecurity solutions to unleash the full potential of AI.

Mohamed Jawdat has a rich career in technology, spanning 30 years of experience. He is the former CEO of Google X, best-selling author, and host of the popular podcast, Slo Mo. Jawdat has become a sought-after consultant on the impact of AI, and continues to share his experiences through books, podcasts, and initiatives around the world.
