An Emirati delegation discusses economic and investment cooperation with Benin

Cotonou, May 17 / WAM / Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in coordination with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, an economic delegation headed by His Excellency Humaid Mohammed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of State Chambers of Commerce and Industry, visited Cotonou in the Republic of Benin, during the period from 13 to 17 May of this year.

His Excellency and his accompanying delegation met with a number of officials and businessmen in Benin, led by government ministers, where the meetings dealt with ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the areas of trade and investment in the sectors of artificial intelligence, tourism, fisheries, agriculture, energy, minerals and infrastructure.

The UAE delegation included representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE Embassy in Cotonou, the Federation of UAE Chambers, the EDGE Group, and the E20 company.
