Suez University hosts a festival of student activities for Egyptian university students under the title: "Egypt is free, safe and sound"

Sponsored by Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Major General Abdel Majeed Saqr, Governor of Suez. The Student Activities Festival for Egyptian university students was held under the slogan “Free, Safe and Safe Egypt,” in cooperation between Suez University, headed by Dr. Ashraf Hanigel, President of the University, and Dr. Karim Hammam, Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education for Activities. Students, and the Director of the Leadership Development Institute, with the participation of nearly 500 male and female students from 29 Egyptian universities, on the occasion of the celebration of Sinai Liberation Day.

 

 

The activities of the Student Activities Festival for Egyptian university students included a parade for the participating universities, an artistic concert presented by the Arab Harmony Choir of Ain Shams University, in addition to organizing many sports, artistic and social activities, as well as organizing awareness meetings for students about protocol and etiquette, ceremonies, and lectures on security. Egyptian nationalism and the role of the Egyptian state in confronting the challenges of the economic crisis and confronting false and extremist ideas, in addition to showcasing the heroism of the people of Suez in defending the homeland.

 

On the sidelines of the festival, the results were announced. Competitions in various  In the sports, social and artistic fields, the students who won these competitions were honored and the results were as follows:

In sports activity, the results of the five-a-side football competition were as follows: Zagazig University came in first place, while Suez Canal University came in first place. In second place, Sohag University came in third place.

As for the beach volleyball results for female students: Helwan University came in first place, New Valley University came in second place, while Minya University came in third place.< /p>

The results of beach volleyball for students were as follows: Ain Shams University came in first place, then Assiut University in second place, then Mansoura University in third place. In the social activity (chess) competitions for female students, the student Marina Nabil Naguib from Assiut University took first place, while the student Marina Harby Khairy from Helwan University came in second place, while the student Aya Siddiq Abdel Wahab from Tanta University came in third place.

As for the results of the chess competition for students, the student Sherif Atef Mohamed from Damanhour University came in first place, while the student Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed from Mansoura University came in second place, while in third place came the student Moaz Ahmed Mansour from Helwan University.

In the artistic activity represented in the field of plastic arts (oil photography), the student Ahmed Hussein Abdullah from Luxor University, the student Salma Saeed Sayed from Fayoum University, and the student Fatima Ibrahim Ahmed from Menoufia University won first place, while the student Omar Sayed Abdel Latif from Suez University, student Mirna Farid Issa from Luxor University, and Stephen Talaat Wadih from Sohag University won second place, while student Karim Ahmed Abdel Razek from New Mansoura University, student Samira Mohamed Hussein from Helwan University, and student Salma Ashraf Abdel Wahab from Al-Azhar University. In third place.

Dr. Ashraf Hanigel expressed his great happiness at the arrival of the first Student Activities Festival at Suez University to this stage, and with this degree of success and this honorable image in appearance and substance, which reflects the amount of effort and time that was expended to achieve it. For this success.

For his part, Dr. Karim Hammam stressed that the activities of the “Free, Safe and Sound Egypt” festival For student activities for Egyptian university students, it is considered a result of the Ministry’s interest in student activities, noting that the festival is an opportunity to exchange visions and experiences among students, as well as increasing their cultural awareness and acquiring leadership skills, in addition to spreading team spirit, cooperation, and strengthening ties between university students.

The Minister’s Advisor for Student Activities also appreciated the cooperation of Suez University in preparing and qualifying future leaders, in light of Egypt’s Vision 2030, stressing that the festival comes within the framework of the Ministry’s endeavor to pay attention to student activities for their important role in building the personality of the university student.
