The Pentagon: The West is working to increase the rate of military aid to Kiev

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, following an online meeting of the Western Aid Coordination Group to Ukraine, said that Western authorities are actively working to increase the pace of military aid to Kiev as soon as possible.

“We are working hard to maintain and increase the speed of assistance,” he said. The head of the Defense Ministry added that “many statements were made in the morning” about their readiness to provide assistance to Kyiv. “We see countries around the world continue to provide assistance by providing platforms and ammunition.”

The US Secretary of Defense believes that the ongoing hostilities in Ukraine have reached a critical stage. He noted that the collective support for Kiev by Western countries is of vital importance, and therefore must be urgent.
