"Indigo" Indian increases the number of flights from Zayed International Airport by 50%

ABU DHABI, 16th May / WAM / “Abu Dhabi Airports” announced the expansion of its flight network to the most prominent destinations around the world, with the Indian Airlines “IndiGo” starting to operate daily flights from Zayed International Airport to the cities of Chandigarh and Kannur and resuming its daily flights to the city of Lucknow in India. .

Abu Dhabi Airports said in a statement today that IndiGo’s addition of 21 weekly flights to its scheduled flights through Zayed International Airport reflects a 50% increase in the number of its flights from Abu Dhabi, bringing the total number to 63 weekly flights, while the resumption of airline flights contributes to IndiGo Airlines to Chandigarh, increasing the number of destinations to which Zayed International Airport operates its flights to more than 120 destinations around the world.

Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “Increasing the number of flights we operate to new destinations is a significant achievement in terms of our commitment to the success of our fruitful partnership with IndiGo Airlines, and an affirmation of our full readiness to expand and diversify our network of destinations.
