Obi Obi: Man feared dead after he is crushed by a tractor in Sunshine Coast hinterland
A man has been killed after he was reportedly crushed by a tractor in a horror accident.
The incident happened at a private home located on Baxter Creek Road in Obi Obi, about 40km west of the Sunshine Coast, around 1pm on Sunday.
Paramedics rushed to the scene at 1.07pm to render assistance to the man, following reports the man suffered critical injuries.

A rescue helicopter which was earlier set to have been deployed as part of the emergency response, was later stood down according to reports from the Courier Mail.
A spokeswoman from the Queensland Ambulance Service told Daily Mail Australia, that the man suffered critical injuries during an incident involving a tractor.
‘No one was transported from the scene,’ the spokeswoman said.
Daily Mail Australia has contacted Queensland Police for comment.
