Ukraine introduced an artificial press secretary named Victoria
On Wednesday, Ukraine unveiled an artificial intelligence-generated spokeswoman named Victoria, who will make official statements on behalf of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. About it reported “Voice of America” with reference to AFP agency
The ministry said it would use a digital press secretary to read its statements “for the first time in history.” The Foreign Office press office told AFP that Victoria’s statements were not generated by artificial intelligence, but were “written and verified by real people”, with AI only helping to generate the visual part.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that the new press secretary is “a technological leap that no diplomatic service in the world has yet made.”
According to him, the main reason for its creation was “saving time and resources” for diplomats.
Victoria was created by The Game Changers team, which also developed virtual reality content related to the war in Ukraine.
