Chinese stocks end the week mixed… and Japanese stocks are on public holiday

BEIJING, 3rd May / WAM / The performance of Chinese stock indices varied at the end of today’s trading, while Japanese stocks were on an official holiday.

The Hang Seng Index on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange rose by 1.41%, equivalent to 256.05 points, to reach the level of 18,463.18 points.

The SSI Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange increased by 0.26%, or 8.22 points, to reach 3,104.82 points.
