Announcing the opening of new headquarters for the Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Ornamentation Gallery in the governorates

The Al-Azhar Gallery at Al-Azhar Mosque announced the acceptance of a new batch of students studying at the Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Ornamentation Gallery in the following governorates: (Aswan, Luxor, Qena, Assiut, Gharbia, Alexandria), in accordance with the directives of His Eminence the Grand Imam Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. Within the framework of Al-Azhar’s gift initiative to Egyptians, and the expansion of the headquarters of the Al-Azhar Gallery for Arabic Calligraphy.

Dr. Hani Odeh, Director General of Al-Azhar Mosque, explained the conditions for applying to join the Gallery of Arabic Calligraphy, which are as follows:

1- The applicant’s age must not be less than sixteen years.

2- The applicant must be a permanent resident of one of the aforementioned governorates.

3- The student joins Al-Rawaq after passing an aptitude test and an identification test. level.

4- The student is evaluated at the end of each level through a test in addition to submitting a project (a creative painting).

5- Applications are open for (15) fifteen days from Announcement date.

6- The student is not entitled to apply in more than one line, and attendance must be one day a week.

7- The duration of study is nine months at three levels, with the one-line system, as is the practice. By studying inside Al-Azhar Mosque. .

9- The study will be in the direct attendance system, and is not available in the distance education system.

10- Applicants must follow the sub-departments of Al-Rawaq Al-Azhari in the aforementioned governorates immediately after the end of the announcement period; To find out the date and place of the aptitude test and to determine the level.

11- Studying in Al-Rawaq is completely free.

12- Choose one type from the following fonts) Naskh, Ruq’ah, Thuluth, or Islamic decoration.
