Emirati participation in the Global Forum for Intercultural Dialogue
BAKU, 1st May / WAM / His Excellency Eng. Mohammed Saif Al-Afkham, President of the International Theater Association and Director-General of the Fujairah Municipality, participates in the sixth session of the Global Forum for Dialogue between Cultures, which was launched today, in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, under the patronage and presence of Azerbaijani President Ilham. Aliyev, under the title “Dialogue for Peace, Cooperation and Communication.”
Al-Afkham said that participation in the forum represents an opportunity to showcase the UAE’s experience in promoting peaceful coexistence among people, respect for others, and openness to others, its vision to become a global leader in the field of artificial intelligence by 2031, and its strategic initiative to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
The forum will be attended by officials, international delegations, representatives of organizations, public figures, distinguished thinkers from all over the world in various cultural, heritage and religious fields, experts in tourism and environmental affairs, and others.
In its sessions, the forum discusses many vital topics, such as global security, preserving cultural and heritage heritage, tourism promotion, and optimal exploitation of artificial intelligence to improve the performance and productivity of institutions, in addition to climate change issues and finding solutions to the challenges facing the world to protect the natural environment and biodiversity.
