‘Fallout’ Scores Another Record Week For Prime Video; ‘Baby Reindeer’ Gets Mega Viewing Boost Onto Nielsen Streaming Charts

Fallout had another record setting week for Prime Video.

In its second week on the streamer, the series amassed 2.6B minutes viewed, putting it at the top of Nielsen‘s streaming charts once again for April 15 to 21.

That’s down slightly from its debut week, but still an impressive showing for the eight-episode series considering its the first time that any streamer besides Netflix has managed two consecutive 2B+ weeks with a single title.

The last to do so was Suitswhich had more than 100 episodes to keep audiences engaged — and it wasn’t a streaming original. This makes Fallout‘s achievement all the more substantial.

Nielsen also reports that viewing was still skewed to the earlier episodes at this interval, indicating a strong performance still to come as audiences continue to make their way through the series.

It shouldn’t be hard to guess what made it to second place. That’s right, Bluey is still dominating streaming with another 1.4B minutes viewed for Disney+ during this interval. That’s up 4% from the previous week, driven by the new episode that launched on the previous Sunday.

Grey’s Anatomy and The Resident are still illustrating the power of the medical drama in third and fourth place, respectively.

By this point, word of mouth was also bringing attention to Netflix’s series Baby Reindeer. While it didn’t make it onto the Nielsen charts in its debut week with just 176M minutes viewed, viewing skyrocketed in the second week up to 673M minutes. That was enough to score 9th place.

Speaking of Netflix, the streamer is once again helping recirculate an old favorite. Killing Eve made an appearance at No. 8 following its debut on Netflix during this interval, generating 719M minutes viewed.
