Gold loses $12 after rising to record levels
Capitals, May 21 / WAM / Gold prices declined during today’s trading, losing about $12 in spot transactions after reaching record levels in the previous session.
By 09:09 AM UAE time, the yellow metal fell by 0.48 percent, or $11.89, to reach 2,414.81 per ounce.
Gold contracts for June 2024 delivery fell by 0.84 percent, or $20.45, to reach $2,418.4 per ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, silver fell by 2.17 percent to $31.72 per ounce, platinum fell by about 1.45 percent to $1,044.2, while palladium fell by 1.67 percent to $1,014.28.
