Three arrested in Mexico for disappearance of Perth brothers

Three people have been arrested over the disappearance of brothers Jake and Callum Robinson from Perth in Mexico.

The couple were on a surfing trip when they failed to reach their pre-arranged accommodation and have not made contact with family and friends since Saturday. The brothers were traveling with a U.S. citizen, who has also been reported missing.

Mexican authorities told local journalists that a woman and two men had been arrested in connection with the disappearance of the three men.

Authorities said they had found drugs and a cell phone on the woman. The mobile phone had a photo of a man who looked like one of the missing people, they said.
