Gold loses $3 in spot transactions

Capitals, May 2, WAM: Gold prices declined during today’s trading, losing about $3 in spot transactions.

By 10:29 am UAE time, the yellow metal fell by 0.14 percent, or $3.01, to reach 2,316.8 per ounce.

On the other hand, gold contracts for June 2024 delivery rose by 0.64 percent, or the equivalent of $15.1, to reach $2,326.05 per ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose by 0.26 percent to $26.82 per ounce, platinum rose by 0.72 percent to $969.6, and palladium increased by 0.45 percent to $958.78.
