Patrick Fiori reveals his quasi-military ritual before a concert: “It’s very, very serious”

We couldn’t imagine Patrick Fiori bending over backwards for the needs of the stage. However, like Celine Dion capable of remaining silent for a week to preserve her voice, he too follows a very strict ritual!

While he is currently performing all over France after the release of his new album entitled The singing is free – which notably contains a duet with Amel Bent, who has voluntarily disappeared from show business for a few months now – the popular singer Patrick Fiori made a visit to the set of Daily. The opportunity to make some surprising revelations.

Patrick Fiori imposes very tough rules on himself before each show

On the set of Yann Barthès, the singer, now 54 years old, was questioned about his voice, which is still as strong since his big debut in the music industry, he who rose to notoriety with Notre Dame de Paris and Eurovision. “It needs to be worked on. It’s very, very serious. Already, I’m stopping all sodas, I’m eating less salt, I’m eating chicken thighs and rice. I see my whole team eating good things and I’m paying attention“, confided Patrick Fiori.

While his colleague Renaud has received a series of criticisms and mockery in recent weeks due to his inability to articulate correctly on stage, Patrick Fiori reveals that he continues, even today, to work on his voice to sing with dignity in front of his fans. “I do my singing lessons for an hour and a half, three hours before singing. It’s religious (…) I go to bed, I pay attention“, he added.

Patrick Fiori respects his audience: money at stake

Like Céline Dion or Hélène Ségara who have already been forced to remain silent for weeks to preserve their voice and then give the best of themselves in front of the public, Patrick Fiori believes that his quasi-military ritual is simply a mark of respect towards the fans. It must be said that concert ticket prices have increased enormously in recent years and for many, it is a financial sacrifice to go and applaud artists on stage.

Because people came, they took tickets. I want to honor their presence so I pay attention to the voice“, assumes Patrick Fiori. For his fans, it is therefore the assurance of hearing him sing his hits perfectly like That you come back, Mama Corsica, Like a man or Where I live.
