Egypt’s ambassador to Kuwait, Osama Shaltout, stressed the depth, strength and history of Egyptian-Kuwaiti relations, which include political, economic and cultural aspects, pointing to the role of the Egyptian community in Kuwait in development and their distinguished performance towards the motherland. Ambassador Osama Shaltut – during his speech at the celebration of the Egyptian Church in Kuwait on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan under the title “The Blessing of Love” – Thanks and gratitude to the State of Kuwait, the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the government and the Kuwaiti people, for the constant interest and care they provide to the members of the Egyptian community in Kuwait.
< p>Shaltout said, “It is my pleasure to participate today in (The Gloom of Love), which expresses – truthfully – the depth of the authentic Egyptian ties between the people of the homeland far from it, and which is an appreciated tradition among the traditions of the Egyptian Church in the State of Kuwait, which spares no effort to preserve.” Strengthening the bonds of love between the beloved people of Egypt and the unity of the fabric of the Egyptian people.”
He added, “We meet today – the Muslims and Copts of Egypt – fasting.” They perform their duties at the same time; To highlight the unity of the fabric of the Egyptian people and the spirit of the one nation so that they celebrate together their holidays with the participation of the sister State of Kuwait, wishing and wishing that all the days of our people and our dear homeland will be holidays that bring tranquility and happiness to the people of our beloved Egypt at home and abroad.
For his part, Father Bigol Bishop Bishoy, pastor of the Egyptian Church in the State of Kuwait, said that “the month of Ramadan in Kuwait is different, and brings us together every year in an atmosphere of love,” pointing out that the atmosphere of Kuwait Al-Amrah – with its joy – from the beginning of the month until the end is distinguished, indicating that everyone in Kuwait lives in a life of friendship, love, freedom and tolerance between religions. Professor at the University of Kuwait, Dr. Siham Al-Qabandi, said that Islamic civilization established human meanings through what was stated in the Holy Qur’an and the Noble Prophet’s Sunnah, and therefore it derived its components from Islam itself, in addition to its connection with ancient civilizations. Islam affirms that all people are brothers, and that the heavenly religions are one. In its origins and goals, Christian civilization was based on faith and love, and the meeting of the Christian and Islamic civilizations had a profound impact on the localization of sciences, especially in the field of medicine and philosophy, to the point that it is said that the Umayyad and Abbasid renaissance benefited greatly from the contribution of Christian minds, especially in terms of translation and transfer of knowledge and in Some aspects of state administration at that time.
