The delegation welcomes the ceasefire in Gaza

Dr. Abdul-Sanad Yamama, head of the Wafd Party, welcomed the Security Council’s decision issued today to cease fire in Gaza during the month of Ramadan and provide the atmosphere for its continuation permanently.

  Dr. Yamama stressed that the decision, although late, was necessary to stop the Israeli aggression and allow the entry of aid to save the Palestinian brothers in Gaza.

 

  The head of the delegation praised the decision’s inclusion of unconditional aid, the exchange of families, and the creation of a climate for a permanent cessation and end to the aggression.
