Minister of Immigration: The Egyptian diplomatic establishment produced honorable models who defended the nation with all their might
The Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, Ambassador Soha Gendi, expressed her appreciation for the great Egyptian diplomatic institution, which has produced – and continues to produce – statures in diplomacy and honorable models who sacrificed and defended the homeland and gave everything for its sake.
The minister wrote – in a post on the social networking site “Facebook” Today, Tuesday – “I was pleased and honored yesterday to attend the celebration of Egyptian Diplomacy Day, which falls on March 15 of each year, at the kind invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister Sameh Shoukry, and in the presence and participation of a group of our professors, former foreign ministers, and figures of Egyptian diplomacy, led by the Minister.” Amr Moussi, Minister Nabil Fahmy, Minister Mohamed Al-Orabi, my colleagues, former undersecretaries, former and current assistants to the minister, ambassadors, my brothers and sons from various ranks of Egyptian diplomats, in addition to a group of prominent public figures.
The minister expressed I express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Minister Sameh Shoukry for the invitation to attend this precious occasion, saying: “No matter how long it takes, I participate every year in its event; I will never overcome the feelings of overwhelming love and great appreciation for this great institution.”
The Minister concluded: “Happy New Year to everyone on the occasion of Egyptian Diplomacy Day, and may our beloved Egypt stand tall and great forever.”
