"Economy" Organized tomorrow "National Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises – Government Procurement"
Dubai, April 22 / WAM / The Ministry of Economy will organize tomorrow, Tuesday, the “National Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises – Government Procurement”, which aims to enhance the benefit of Emirati entrepreneurs from the tenders and contracts offered by the federal authorities and national companies participating in the forum.
The forum, which will be held at the Emirates Towers Hotel in Dubai, will be attended by His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy, more than 80 federal entities and national companies, and a large group of small and medium enterprise owners.
30 participating entities in the forum will provide digital platforms through which they will present the terms of tenders and contracts to Emirati entrepreneurs, provide advice and support for them to benefit from them, in addition to introducing participants to the initiatives that support owners of national small and medium enterprises and the opportunities available to them to develop their businesses and enhance their access to new projects.
The forum will hold a group of diverse dialogue sessions in which 26 male and female speakers will participate, highlighting legislation and economic policies that support the growth of projects through government procurement, and dealing with a group of success stories of national entrepreneurs, and the challenges they faced to obtain government tenders.
The forum provides a main source of information about programs to support Emirati entrepreneurs, such as the “National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises” and the “Digital Procurement Platform,” in addition to the “Hafiz” and “Nafis” programs, as well as introducing participants to the advantages offered by these initiatives and the latest developments that have been achieved. The Ministry of Economy called on all Emirati entrepreneurs to participate in this important event to benefit from the available opportunities and enhance their participation in developing the national economy and supporting its competitiveness at the regional and global levels.
