Al-Quseir decides to extend the Khair Our Farms exhibition to our families until after Ramadan
TMr. El-Qosir, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, visited the commodity and food products exhibition “The best of our farms for our people,” affiliated with the Ministry, as part of the continuous follow-up of efforts to reduce commodity prices and support citizens, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister. .
During his inspection of all the exhibition’s pavilions, Al-Qusair stressed to exhibitors from the Ministry’s affiliated entities and the private sector the need to make things easier for citizens, and to continue pumping goods, food products, and basic needs, at reduced prices, to contribute to lifting the burden on the citizen. p>
The Minister of Agriculture stressed the need for the citizen to feel the change in prices, as a result of the measures taken by the state recently, to support exporters, importers, merchants and manufacturers, and to provide hard currency, pointing to the importance of everyone participating in achieving a fundamental decline in prices and real reductions that the citizen feels on the ground.
Al-Quseir was keen to listen to the citizens who went to the exhibition, who praised the efforts taken by the Ministry to contribute to reducing high prices and providing products at reduced prices and of high quality.
The Minister of Agriculture decided to continue the exhibition for a period after the holy month of Ramadan, as he directed all exhibitors from the ministry and the private sector to extend the period of the exhibition, as a result of what was observed of the great demand for the exhibition, the desire of a large number of citizens, and the contribution of the Ministry of Agriculture in supporting the citizen and the consumer. .
Al-Quseir thanked all those in charge of the exhibition and its participants from the Ministry and the private sector, for their national role, to contribute to lifting the burden on citizens, and to support the state’s efforts to reduce prices.
< p dir="rtl"The Best of Our Farms for Our People exhibition, in its fifth edition this year, is held under the slogan " “In the Love of Egypt We Meet,” under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, on an area of 1,500 square metres, at the site of protected crops in Dokki, with the participation of more than 70 exhibitors from the government and private sectors, and more than 200 commodities and food products available at major discounts. /p>
The visit of the Minister of Agriculture to the exhibition comes within the framework of continuous follow-up to implement the directives to contribute to reducing high prices and reducing prices, as it is the third visit of the Minister of Agriculture to the exhibition, which he had opened, accompanied by Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, before the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.< /b>
In a related context, Saeed Saleh, advisor to the Minister of Agriculture for follow-up and general supervisor of outlets and exhibitions, said that it was decided today to reduce the prices of first-class tilapia fish to reach 65 pounds, the second class to 55 pounds, and the third class to 45 pounds per kilo. The prices of a bottle of expensive brand oil also decreased. The weight of 750 grams reaches 48 pounds, and the weight of kidney beans is a quarter kilogram of 15 pounds.
Saleh added that large quantities of Eid cakes and biscuits, produced by the Food Technology Research Institute affiliated with the Ministry, have also been supplied at reduced prices, to support citizens with the advent of Eid al-Fitr.
