Lady Amelia Windsor steps out in chunky biker boots and a belted wool coat for a stroll through Chelsea

Lady Amelia Windsor opted for a lowkey look and went without make-up in London today as she enjoyed a stroll while listening to music.

The 28-year-old, who is the granddaughter of the Duke of Kent and 43rd in line to the throne, looked effortlessly cool as she stepped out in Chelsea.

Going bare-faced for the walk around west London, the royal showed off her flawless complexion while donning a longline blue wool coat and a pair of casual black jeans.

Amelia complemented the outfit by adding a trendy denim tote bag and tech accessories, including a stylish phone strap attached to her phone case that read her nickname, ‘Mel’, and a pair of black headphones.

She infused some childhood nostalgia to the look with a pair of colourful badges attached to her coat, one in the shape of a flower, another an ice cream, adding a pop of colour to an otherwise dark outfit.

Amelia added a touch of practicality to her outfit with a pair of chunky boots, which added an edgy air to her look.

The royal styled her honey-blonde tresses in a messy yet chic updo while her headphones kept her hair away from her face.

It’s been a busy month for Amelia, who recently attended a launch party for Guy Ritchie’s Netflix series, The Gentlemen, before spending Easter weekend with close family.

The 28-year-old model sported a sleeveless midi dress with a statement zip collar in racing green along with a pair of studded biker boots.

The combination of the ladylike, empire line dress and the chunky biker boots made for a youthful and edgy look.

Amelia completed the look with bracelets of varying sizes and styles on each wrist, which in turn drew attention to the tattoos on her forearms.

While Amelia wore a number of rings on her hands, she resisted the current fashion to layer necklaces and instead wore a simple chain with a single charm around her neck.

The Notting Hill-based royal looked fresh-faced with little make-up besides a slick of lipstick.

She wore her long brown and blond hair loose tucked behind her ears to reveal a pair of drop earrings.

Amelia joined the cast of The Gentlemen, which was released on 7 March – at the premiere held at the Theatre Royal on Drury Lane in the capital.

Actresses Joely Richardson and Ruby Sear, who play Lady Sabrina and Gabrielle in the new series, were just two of the stars in attendance.

Once dubbed the most beautiful member of the British Royal Family, Lady Amelia is currently signed to Storm models, which represents the likes of Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

She has also modelled for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and designed her own range of accessories in collaboration with Penelope Chilvers.

Amelia often wins praise for her fashion taste and regularly posts her style tips on her Instagram page, along with collaborations with brands, including with fine jewellery specialist Alice van Cal.

Speaking about why it’s her preferred social media platform, Amelia said: ‘It allows anyone to be creative and imaginative.

‘I also love that we can share all the beautiful and meaningful things we see and hear in the world. I find it so inspiring and uplifting.’

The party girl has featured on the front of Tatler magazine and is also a regular at London Fashion Week, having first come to prominence at the Queen’s 90th birthday party in 2016.

Speaking previously to Hello Fashion, she revealed her love of secondhand clothing saying it’s all she ‘wore in university’.

She said she wants to use her platform to push sustainability and spoke about her passion for sustainable fashion and her excitement thrifting in Portobello market.

The beauty said: ‘That literally is all I wore, it’s the excitement of it – and it became a bit of an obsession.

‘I just love the fact that you never know what you’re going to find. Portobello market I love, it has such a great atmosphere and all the sellers have known each other for years. And now, obviously, you have online as well, with Depop and Vestiaire.’

The beauty admitted she also loves to support independent designers who make clothes with ‘good-quality fabrics.’

She admitted that during the Covid lockdowns she took a couple of online courses to learn more about sustainability, and started volunteering for a gardening collective after realising the mental health benefits.
