Al-Ahly faces Zamalek tonight in a playoff match to determine the champion of the Women’s Volleyball League

The Al-Ahly club’s women’s volleyball team will face its counterpart in Zamalek at 10 pm today, Saturday, in a playoff match to determine the champion of the 2023/2024 local season league at Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October.

The first match in the playoff final witnessed Al-Ahly winning 3-0 on Tuesday evening, before Zamalek won 3-0 in the second match on Thursday evening.

And it was decided. The title in the playoff system is the team that wins in two matches, and in the event of a tie, a playoff match is resorted to.

The Al-Ahly and Zamalek women’s teams had reserved their place in the final of the women’s volleyball league, as were Al-Ahly. And Zamalek on the men’s level.

The first men’s volleyball team of Zamalek club was able to achieve victory over its counterpart Smouha in the aggregate of the two semi-final matches, while Al-Ahly won over Sporting.
