Crowds of worshipers witness the completion of the Qur’an in the Prophet’s Mosque
Today, the Prophet’s Mosque witnessed the completion of the Holy Qur’an in the Tarawih prayer on the night of the twenty-ninth of the blessed month of Ramadan, in a spiritual atmosphere dominated by security, safety, tranquility and reassurance. The corridors, courtyards, rooftops and expansions of the mosque were filled early on, and the rows extended to the roads and neighboring areas with worshipers and visitors from Inside and outside the Kingdom who were keen to witness the night of the completion of the Holy Qur’an.
The worshipers were led by the imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Salah Al-Badir, who called for forgiveness and freedom from hellfire for the Muslims on this blessed night. And to protect our country from all evil and the countries of Muslims, and to protect our leaders from us, and to make our country safe and stable and the countries of Muslims.
The General Assembly was keen To take care of the affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque, in coordination with the various departments and relevant authorities, to fully prepare the Prophet’s Mosque and make all necessary arrangements to maintain the safety and comfort of visitors, and to help them spend times filled with remembrance, worship, comfort and tranquility in accordance with the sound directives of the wise leadership in providing all services to the Prophet’s Mosque and its visitors.
The authority worked to organize the entry and exit of worshipers and visitors to and from the Mosque of the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, in coordination with the concerned authorities, as the main corridors were opened. There are 38 corridors, 14 secondary corridors and 8 emergency corridors, bringing the total number of corridors to 60, 38 entrances from parking lots and 18 regular stairs, in addition to 12 electric escalators. The corridors leading to stairs 15 and 27 have also been prepared to ensure human movement according to the plan. Prepared in advance, Zamzam water containers were also prepared, Zamzam water bottles were distributed to visitors, and the Prophet’s Mosque, its roof and courtyards were sterilized with 70,000 litres, and the number of disinfectants reached 85,000 litres. The agency also provided 40,000 chairs for the elderly.
